This is my modern mill deck. It could be improved by using white and sometimes can't stand up to really aggressive decks. If you are playing U/B mill in modern you won't win all the time, and you just play it because it's fun to play. Let's jump right in, shall we?For creatures I have Snapcaster Mage, Hedron Crab, and Jace's Phantasm Snapcasters are mostly used for flashing back Glimpse the Unthinkable or Mana Leak, and after that acts as a chump blocker. (Unless for some reason I can swing in 10 times with him.) Hedron Crab is great esppecially with the fetch lands in this deck. Jace's Phantasm is a potential turn 2 5/5 flyer with Glimpse the Unthinkable and Archive Trap (who needs [[tarmogoyf?) For card draw I have 4 Visions of Beyond. In this deck it is basically Ancestral Recall which is really sweet. Four Mana Leak and a single Spell Snare make up the counter package for this deck. They are both low cost and useful. For the main mill package I have four Glimpse the Unthinkable, four Archive Trap and three Mind Funeral. I only have three because it is a very hit and miss card. Sometimes you just reveal four lands off the top, and I don't want them clogging up my hand. However, against decks running few land they are a powerhouse.In the sideboard I have 3 crypt incursion. These are great against creature heavy decks, becasue If I can mill about 10 creatures by turn 4, which is no great feat with this deck, I can end step crypt incursion, gain 30 life, and untap, and by that point, it's often game over. The three Leyline of the Void are for graveyard hate, I f my opponent is running something like that ridiculous Goryo's Vengeance through the breech deck with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. The surgical extractions are great against decks like storm, and I can extract their win con and leave them helpless. Ghost quarter comes in against decks like tron, where lands are key. Everything else I would like to switch out for other things, so if you have any advice, that would be great. Thank you for looking, comments and +1's much appreciated!
