Although I am a huge fan of mono red as well as r/b chainwhirller, I have grown a bit bored of playing both of them. My lgs’s meta consists of mono green stomps, mono red, w/b knights, etc...and the level of play is top notch for sure. I created this deck to be incredibly powerful, versatile, and fun! I’m pretty sure I have succeeded. This lineup is mean. You are covered in so many areas that it’s hard to fail at times. You’ve got card draw via Ms. Glint, life gain, deathtouch, and an all around defensive king in Gifted a-born. Dread Shade is an all star which can be pumped to smash with insane power when an opening is revealed. Gonti is Gonti! Liliana is a magnificent in this deck, creating blockers and bringing back your biggest threats to the field. Josu’s Big butt and 4 power along with menace is a total headache for your opponent and Scrapheap is as scrappy as ever returning over and over to punish. Of course, the black removal is the cream of the crop here and if you need more than the sideboard can give you a more controlling set up. I assure you that there is a bit of magic here and would totally urge anyone looking for a change of pace to give this deck a whirl! I would love to hear any ideas for improvement as I am really open to listening to all of them....thanks a bunch for looking!
