Dark Ascension Blue Black Zombies

Playtested a few times and it ran beautifully! Your one drop zombies are too good ><. Think about putting in the blue card that bounces a permanent.

What about tragic slip cost one black mana I think its -1/-1 to target creature and morbid- -13/-13 would work with un-tapping grimgrin.

However, i need some ideas for artifact removal as Grafdigger's Cage threatens this deck alot plus its a CMC 1, therefore hard to mana leak.

Mental Misstep are both great ways to defend against Grafdigger's Cage.

I like the infinite loop you can create with grimgrin, Diregraf Captain , Gravecrawler , and Rooftop Storm.

I'd reduce bothUnbreathing Horde and Tragic Slip number to 2, and add in 2 Tribute to Hunger instead; also, MB those BSZs, you're going to need board positioning with it since almost all zombies are relatively 2/2s. In this deck, I'd rather have Divination or Forbidden Alchemy than Tezzeret's Gambit but that's still up to you. One more thing, Increasing Ambition or Diabolic Tutor really helps this kind of deck in searching key cards. With it, you could run just 1x Rooftop Storm, and Zombie Apocalypse and add in at least 1 Army of the Damned just in case all the creature casting fail.

To hate on Grafdigger's Cage, and Nihil Spellbomb, you could sideboard in Disperse, Army of the Damned, Mental Misstep, or even Distress. I'm also brewing a zombie deck but more on life losing as a win-con with Geralf's Messenger in it. You could also do that in this deck, lol. :D

@paulage ... looks like some1 is on the rag... now for the deck: i like the idea of zombies and i myself have been trying really hard to get one up and running. Now i am a huge fan of going infinite and i like the combo with with the captain, Grim, an the crawler. my i suggest something like that and instead of the gambit try out forbidden alchemy with maybe 2 havengul lich's to help bringg stuff back but like the deck =P

I personally like this build. What would you say to negging out unbreathing horde and throwing in 3x Ghoulraiser to keep an infinite chain running with cards grim grin's sac effect or bringing back fallen zombies.
