A deck that will cause BRAIN DAMAGE.

This deck is absolutely ridiculous for a 1 vs 1 deck (don't use this for FFA). Unlike most azorius controldecks, this deck focuses on shutting your opponent down with counterspells and exile enchantments and finish them off in the very end, when they are absolutely paralyzed. With combos like Teferi, Time Raveler and Render Silent//Dovin's Veto/Counterspell/Overwhelming Denial, you can effectively choke your opponent to death. Although there are no pure creatures, Celestial Colonnade and Hall of Storm Giants work when you got so much mana to spare at the endgame. You can also use Jace, the Mind Sculptor to ultimatum them.

Thoughts: 1. Teferi, Time Raveler is a MUST. Use it to prevent your opponent from casting counterspells! Also, the -3 Ability allows you to deal with very annoying things and lets you have a chance of counterspelling the permanent when your opponent casts it again. +1 let's you flash supreme verdict. 2. Counterspell everything (pretty much)! Don't let them create trouble. Shut them down. 3. Use Teferi's -3 to bounce things like Detention Sphere back to your hand and then recast it to exile the permanents again. Say you Detention Sphered Thief of Sanity and they casted another one. You can bounce Detention Sphere back and recast it to exile all the thieves. 4. Use lands or Karn Liberated or Jace, the Mind Sculptor to finish them off. There are only a few wincons but they are very different, making sure something like Surgical Extraction (which is in my dimir control deck) will not kill you. 5. Use Disallow and/or Ashiok's Erasure against Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. If somehow Emrakul ends up in the graveyard, use Disallow to stop the library from being replenished!

In conclusion, SHUT YOUR OPPONENT DOWN AND WIN THAT WAY. Let me know if you have any comments or questions.

That's it. This deck is pretty easy to learn and play. Let me know if you have any comments.
