Got into that mood of preemptively building decks based on a small selection of spoilers for a new set. However, I am all around excited for the return of Fling. So let's get to mechanics
Idea so far is to get cheap creats out and start hurling them at the enemy as soon as possible. Notable selections already include the ever-popular (I say satirically) Lupine Prototype, a nice 2 mana heavy hitter.
To help out a tad to make sure we get off that extra lil bit and can keep some blockers, Otherworldy Outburst will be surprisingly useful with this deck.
Now we gon' put in a little supplementary burn for a variety of reasons: consistent damage, finishers, combo breakers, etc. Shock goes in without question to cease that silly Saheeli Cat combo. Tormenting Voice and Cathartic Reunion aid in card draw, and simultaneously lets us get out some strong power cards for less to use with Fling
Unfortunately Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet is a tad out of my price range, or else I would totally have a playset. Instead, Voracious Null will end up being my poor man's substitute.
Obviously things will change as Amonkhet spoilers are revealed, but I needed to get this down while my creative juices were flowing.
