Sideboard

Based on the Turbofog deck that James Newman piloted in the SCG open Chicago, I made this tune up in hopes of making this strategy a little less reliant on day's undoing and be able to mill a little faster.

Splashing black seems like the best option to me. It allows us to get more life gain lands, cards that this deck actually really wants to play to ward off aggro, and gives us access to a couple strong spells that could really come in handy.

Sphinx's Tutelage is the obvious win con in this deck, milling them out so effectively, we can end the game pretty fast once we have it and a few enablers in play.

The first of the two Black cards I am splashing in is Sultai Charm. The charm provides at worst, instant speed card draw, it is main deck artifact/enchantment hate, perfect for the mirror (if that is a thing where you are), and it is able to hit monocolored creatures quite well. I know that green devotion players could have in their side a few Gaea's Revenge and the charm is green so it gets around it. It is also versatile enough to Main Board.

The other card I am splashing black for is Dark Deal. This card is actually bonkers with the tutelage. Because we play tutelage we have tons of support and card draw for it in the main board already. That means our hands will normally have a pretty large size. Drawing 4 or 5 cards for 3 mana just to get the triggers is totally worthwhile.

One last card i like in here is Bow of Nylea.Although not Ideal, i prefer it as recursion more than Day's Undoing because we have dark deal to fill the draw slot and the versatility of gaining 3 life is so good. Also, the undoing is to go and find more fogs, but if you can not find more fogs, the triggers on the stack get exiled, so there is no chance you would win if your opponent has lethal. I would rather just dig more with Dark Deal and slowly recur my yard with the bow and have hope of milling my opponent out if things go south.

Anyways, if you have any questions or reccomendations for this deck, feel free to speak up. Remember to +1 if you like it!
