(This is the Original description from when the deck was a jeskia agro deck named Taylor Swiftspear, see updates for more accurate and current information. I'm going to leave this here so I can see the evolution of my thought process.) I am trying to build a competitive deck for FNM on a budget, I have almost all of these cards. I do not have the cards on the Maybe board but see the value of them in the deck. Any comments or insights are welcome.

Temple of Triumph would add almost 20 bucks to the cost of the deck, that is more than the whole rest of the deck. Adding the Temple of Triumph would not only make the mana base more reliable it would also bring in more scry making the whole deck more reliable. Evolving Wilds goes a long way to make the deck more reliable because you get less mana in your deck and that means drawing more great one drops. I have seen similar decks run with 18 lands, I am not experienced enough to say this with authority but I suspect that Evolving Wilds getting 4 basic lands out of the way and into the field is better than just getting rid of 2 of them. I know that means less spells in the deck but when was the last time an agro deck lost because it ran out of cards. Why no Temple of Triumph? because so many of the cards are one drop Temple of Triumph would usually be tapped for a colored mana doing damage to me, it is only one point but that would add up if I had two of these in
