Sideboard

An attempt to recreate the gameplay of UB Faeries in standard. The deck aims to play at instant speed as much as possible, and the general gameplan is to stabilise with removal and counters before closing out the game with creatures. The deck can take a more aggressive approach against control, normally trying to land a looter (Saboteur or Jace) early then using it to mitigate flood.

Card choices: Testing shows need for lookout's dispersal vs. either counter vs. admiral's order occurs in a roughly 2:3:1 ratio, so a 3:2 split is used. Opt gets the nod over Chart a Course due to instant speed and you don't want to take turn 2 off when you should be killing something or casting a pirate. Recently been trying March of the Drowned for some card advantage and it seems quite nice. Only running 4 1-toughness creatures main deck as a concession to chainwhirler. Siren stormtamer can come in from the side if safe to do so. Hostage taker should be treated as an ~8 drop rather than a four drop. If running 4 stormtamers, can possible be a 5 drop. Not playing Fell Flagship - it seemed winmore against good matchups and poor a lot of the time due to not running enough creatures.

General matchup feelings in GRN standard: This deck is good against Mono G stompy, even against control and general midrange, and worse against low to the ground aggro and tokens.
