Archangel Life Gain

Modern*

TPlatt

Sideboard

This deck is all about gaining life to power up your creatures. I use various cards like soul's attendant to gather life quick, paired with serra ascendant. I feel as though the combo should be quick for a 6/6 creature on the board. I also try and pair Ajani's Pridemate to my nearheath Pilgrim to consistently power him up.

I'm fairly new to the MTG screen, and I understand that mono white angel isn't exactly a great idea. With that said I try to make up for the mana cost with Nykthos. I run 4 because I rather have one early as possible than not have on at ll. It can make a nasty combo with entreat the angels, when the condition allow. I also have decent devotion feeder cards like Jubilation angel.

My main card though is archangel of thune, she really knows how to beef up my other creatures on the board. Her counterpart, tithes is pretty good at making my opponent take extra time to think how he/she will spend their mana.

I also added godsend as a type of creature removal as it also makes my opponent think wisely how they approach me in battle.

It's a rough draft and I'm very open to suggestions you have. Also, this deck is not competitive, its more so for theme. So please rate and review and feed me tips and ideas. Thank for taking a peek at my deck.

EDIT 1. - I removed the nearheath pilgrims, and replaced them with martyr of sands. - I replaced angelic skirmishers with serra avatars - I brought in 2x herald of war
