Commander Deck Help forum

I came across
Firja, Judge of Valor
while opening packs and immediately felt the need to build her.
I checked my deck building challenges and decided to go with build a 4 card combo with out using tutors.
My first draft of this deck consistently combo'd between turns 9-12. making it a power level 6.
It was consistent but lacked wins. So i added tempo and started wining most games. At this point i completely fell in love with the deck.
So i foiled out what i could, and had this beautiful deck that consistently accomplished what many would think impossible, But it felt weak at level 6.
I broke down, added ramp with a couple tutors and got to 7.
But here i am now almost a year into this deck with over a grand invested and completely stuck at level 7...
My goal is 8 (consistent combo 5-7), and i do have some dead weight in the deck, But i have tried every combination of swaps i can think of and can not get out of 7.
Before i finally give up and swap out commanders to pick up green i hoped someone here could see what i am missing.
Thank you in advance !

Before I go on to card swaps, I think that having a measurable "Turn X - Y equates to power level Z" is a bit silly. I get what you're trying to achieve with it, but the concept is very two dimensional when deck building and piloting is is not.
As for actual card changes - if you want to make the deck faster then a more consistent mana base will be step one. Yes, that means fetches. You have stuff like Crucible of Worlds which is midrange tech, yet if the goal was for speed then this contradicts the gameplan.
On top of that, you're not running Demonic Tutor or Diabolic Intent . If we're talking no budget, Imperial Seal is another one worth a slot. Night's Whisper is good card draw too, as is Sign in Blood .
I would also look into cards like Mana Crypt , Mana Vault and Dark Ritual . Cheap ramp effects are your friend. Big mana accelerators like Nirkana Revenant are counter-productive here, they don't help in the early game which is where you're trying to win.
A few extra reanimation effects like Apprentice Necromancer and potentially Doomed Necromancer are both useful here, since most of your combos can be assembled as creature only.

Thank you, for taking the time to respond
Squirrel_of_War, the deck tempos till combo. Stalling the game till turns 5-7 would be much easier then stalling the game till turns 7-9 wich would greatly increase my win%. That's why I'm focused on power level.
enpc, this deck does self milling,
Crucible of Worlds
is the only option in these colors to get lands back with out giving opponents there lands also, plus it being a 3 cmc permanent makes it a reanimate target.
Nirkana Revenant
is never hard casted it's a reanimate target. I have actually had games were turn 0 gemstone-exile Rev, pull from eternity, turn 1 reanimate
Apprentice Necromancer
was swapped for
Priest of Fell Rites
&
Doomed Necromancer
was swapped for
Magus of the Will
Night's Whisper & Sign in Blood are fantastic suggestions cantrips are the key to frija

Sorry, I forgot to respond about fetches.
What fetch could I add to the deck that I don't already have?
there is more pain fetches that could be used but there are only 3 cards in existence that are both a plains&swamp so most games I'd be pain fetching a basic land which doesn't feel all that great.
I think I get more value with the basics and landtax

you're running 1 of the 7 fetches that will work in your deck. While the other 6 will only find either a swamp or a plains (like Bloodstained Mire ), replacing cards like Snowfield Sinkhole or Goldmire Bridge with these will allow you to straight up tutor Scrubland or Godless Shrine . After that, they have done their job. Also, with Crucible of Worlds you get extra bang for your buck with fetches.
As for Land Tax , I'm not saying to cut the basics, I'm recommending cutting some of the slower lands in the deck for the fetches.

Agreed slowfield stinkhole is a terrible land, but I already consistently play scrub and godless almost every game and needed another target to fetch other then a basic plains. When I played the deck with the other pain fetches like
Bloodstained Mire
9 out of 10 games I was only able to target a basic swamp. They didn't help with color correction and often were just dead cards in hand. So I cut them out.
as for
Goldmire Bridge
I mulligan if it's in opening hand and cringe if I draw it but I keep it around becouse it with 1 rock has won me games against LD decks

enpc please don't give up. i really do need the help
your advise is solid and do appreciate it. fetch's would work with almost any other deck. its just these colors options are limited with
Tithe
by itself i run out of targets and the one fetch i am running becomes a fetch basic with out slowfield stinkhole.
i've spent since February obsessively tuning this deck to consist run a 4 card combo with in 8 turns, while being resistant enough to play through what ever is thrown at it to stop it, and at the same time still being able to stop others. now im trying to do it in 6 turns. if it is possible, the answer is not going to be easy
firja, is a tempo for me to. if i ramp up and blow out my hand i shut down my biggest card vantage. so it is limited to two cards per turn. in an ideal situation ill play two sorcery speeds on my turn and then two instant speeds on opponents turns. the deck is playable with 2 mana, accelerates with 4 mana, and peaks at 6 mana.
cantrips really are the key to success, i have to cast 2 to draw 1. this math fails and already leaves you with no cards in hand. thats why weird cards like
Defiant Strike
,
Purify the Grave
,
Cremate
perform amazing in this deck even though the abilities them self's are week

i have been toying with the idea of Emergence Zone , it would work with crucible and let me get more hits on firga, downside is it would cap my mana. i really wanted Vedalken Orrery but the 4 cmc make its near impossible to pull from gy

RambIe there are ways to pull Orrery from your GY.
Both of which synergize with Crucible.

You are way over thinking this. Just play to have fun. I would recommend to also build a little towards your meta as well, this will help you increase your wins. It's not about comboing out on turn whatever, it is also about stopping the other decks from doing so and shifting power to prolong the game and possibly win through attrition. That's my $0.02
