I have been playing U/W puresteel for a while now and I thought that I should post a decklist with a primer of the cards in it. So here goes.
First off, don't just copy my list and go play it. Adjust it to your local metagame, or to the decks you will play.
Mainboard:
4 Puresteel Paladin - The namesake of the deck. If you have ever landed one and dropped a few equipments, you will see how good it is. Play 4.
2 Doomed Traveler - While this may seem like a random addition, it is an extremely valuable card in this deck. Opponents are reluctant to kill him because he just comes back, as a flyer (He also stciks around after a board wipe, which is really good). Not to mention he also gives fodder for moorland haunt and mortarpod - there have been several games where a late doomed traveler dealing 2 damage off a mortarpod has been invaluable. I find 2-3 is good number.
2 Mirran Crusader - Mirran crusader is a superb card with swords - give him a sword of war and peace and he has protection from all but blue, and if he makes contact can easily deal 10-20 damage in a single hit. He is also a human, so a Silver-Inlaid dagger makes him a 5/3 double strike. Play 0-3, hugely dependent on your local metagame. If your meta is full of mono red and wolf-run red (the variation playing galvanic blasts, arc trails and inferno titans), then run less. If not, then run more. He also hates blade splicer.
Invisible stalker - This puresteel version revolves a bit more around Invisible Stalker/Silver-Inlaid Dagger than some other builds, but the "combo" is by far worth it. Oftentimes one stalker and a single Dagger will force your opponent to play a board wipe, especially against control. Not to mention giving him a sword can make him run wild. Run 3-4.
1 Spellskite - Spellskite is good against a lot of decks, because he blocks, nullifies burn, and has to be dealt with before Puresteel Paladins/swords/daggers/etc. (Also huge is that it doesn't have defender). An excellent card. I recommend 3 total in your 75, but you can change this if needs be.
3 Flayer Husk - In Puresteel Flayer Fusk is a good card, because it is cheap, sticks around as and equipment, helps metalcraft, can block an X/1 turn 1 drop, can be mortarpod fodder, and can be a cheap cantrip off a Puresteel Paladin. I recommend 3-4, 3 if you have the Silver-Inlaid Daggers.
4 Silver-Inlaid Dagger - As I said before, this card combos nicely with Invisible Stalker, Puresteel Paladin, Mirran Crusader, etc., and you can also throw it on an Inkmoth Nexus to get in with infect damage. I recommend 3-4 with Invisible Stalker.
4 Mortarpod - Another GREAT card, it can kill the X/1s against any deck (stromkirk, birds, tokens, etc.), can kill illusions, can kill Inkmoth Nexuses from Wolf-Run, and can be used to get the last 2-5 points of damage in at the end of the game. EXCELLENT card, I wouldn't play any less than 4. (Unless your meta has a LOT of control, and I mean a LOT.)
3 Sword of War and Peace - deals damage, gains life. Really good card. Play at least 3. 'Nuff said.
2 Sword of Feast and Famine - Untaps and makes your opponents draw cards. Its really good, but sometimes is a lot more lackluster than SoWaP. I recommend 2, but more can be played (it also has a high price tag).
4 Dispatch - With metalcraft it is a Path to Exile or a Swords to Plowshares that doesn't give your opponents anything. With metalcraft I think it is the best removal spell in standard. I personally would always play 4, but some people/lists only play three.
2 Oblivion Ring - Excellent, all-purpose card. I love it. I generally play 3 mainboard, 1 sideboard in my meta, but 3 total in most 75 is good.
1 Day of Judgment - It may seem a bit odd, but this card has saved me a lot, and is a good 1-of. Play 1-2, not more.
Lands:
4 Glacial Fortress, 4 Seachrome Coast - Obvious9 Plains - Obvious1 Island - This is here just to have that extra blue source. Draws usually work fine, but you can remove it if you like,1 Moorland Haunt - Recycle your creatures! Who wouldn't?4 inkmoth - I am running 4 inkmoth and 1 Moorland Haunt as opposed to 3-and-2 because Silver-Inlaid Dagger with Inkmoth is really good. Ofttimes you can poison out of nowhere.
Sideboard:
The sideboard is much more meta dependent than the mainboard, but I recommend a combination of:
Dismember - Mono-black infect, Hero of the bladehold
Angelic Destiny - Wolf-run, Mono red
Flashfreeze - Wolf-run, Mono red, random green brews
Geist of Saint Traft - Control, Mono red
Oblivion Ring - Extras not in the mainboard
Ratchet Bomb - Tokens, Tempered Steel
Spellskite - Add for a total of 3 in your 75
Day of Judgment - Aggro, not more than 2 in your 75
Revoke Existence - Tempered steel, Tokens,
Wurmcoil
/Batterskull, Oblivion Rings (I generally run 4 Oblivion rings before Revokes, because they are more versatile)
Nihil Spellbomb - Solar Flare, Snapcaster, burning vengeance
Grand Abolisher - Prevent counter/shenanigans on your turn. A possible mainboard card depending on your meta.
Timely Reinforcements - aggro, can be mainboard.
