Twins? Ohhh, no no. There sure seem to be a lot of these Yamazaki boys running around.

Brothers Yamazaki is (are?) a very interesting card: alone they may be nothing special, but if you get two together, they rather uniquely ignore the Legend rule and give each other a hefty boost. Three mana for a 4/3 with Haste and Bushido, not bad at all!

The thing is, the Brothers are a pair and no more. You put a third one out, and the Legend rule kicks right back in, slaying them all. But what if there was no such limit? Mirror Gallery is the classic example right from the era, letting three or more Brothers coexist. Each one will continue to give all its siblings +2/+2, though, resulting in massive sizes very quickly!

What are the odds of drawing three of the one card as well as a Mirror Gallery, though? Thankfully, newcomer Sakashima of a Thousand Faces covers two bases at once: in addition to switching off the Legend rule, he conveniently joins the fray as another brother (what, you don't remember him? Long estranged!) Once the Legend rule is out of the picture, Cackling Counterpart, Mirror Image and Helm of the Host let extra brothers pop out of the woodwork, each one with Haste and providing +2/+2 to the whole crew.

EDIT: Whoa! Era-appropriate or not, Mirror Box is a whole cheaper, and gives your Brothers all a hefty boost while it's at it. Talk about an upgrade!
