Step right up! Come and see Purphoros' Traveling Zoo! Featuring beasts and monster of which most have never seen!

The idea behind the deck is to have board presence as soon as possible, and then release the beast all over your opponent. With most of the decks in standard being control or a little slow, this deck should have no problem hitting the ground running.

Elvish Mystic + Sylvan Caryatid help set up your mana pool, and allow you to get the beat sticks Polukranos, World Eater and Stormbreath Dragon a turn or two early. Xenagos, the Reveler likes to help too. Loxodon Smiter and Fleecemane Lion fill the board early just in case you don't have your bomb yet, and Domri Rade will help find said bomb. Boros Reckoner Purphoros, God of the Forge and Mizzium Mortars help keep the board clear of small chump blockers, and Boros Charm will help protect them when needed, or just make a wicked combat trick.

In the back, we have Mistcutter Hydra for those control matchups. We have Chained to the Rocks and Selesnya Charm to handle mirrors. Anger of the Gods will help against pesky Red aggro decks, and Fade into Antiquity will make sure that my god is the only god on display.
