Here is a new updated (as of now untested) soulflayer list.
Ofcourse we know Soulflayer and the easy combo with Zetalpa, Primal Dawn and Chromanticore , but let's expand on that.
To help with the few lands that I run I have 4 Birds of Paradise and 2 Ignoble Hierarch. In addition to being early ramp, bop has flying to help the flayer and ignoble helps pump it.
Dragon's Rage Channeler is something I'm very excited to try. An early drop that helps mill that can become a 3/3 flyer for the times that I can't find a flyer is really cool to me.
To play off of Channeler and fill the yard I'm using Grapple with the Past and Grisly Salvage. I considered Gather the Pack over Grapple but Grapple allows me to pull any creature from the yard, including flyers that were killed/ countered previously. Traverse the Ulvenwald is a great tutor that works with delirium just like Channeler.
I'm also trying out Fury and Endurance for graveyard hate and extra damage, plus they have keywords so that's nice for flaying.
One drops are Drogskol Reaver for its really good combination of keywords, Samut, Voice of Dissent for the same reason, Ghor-Clan Rampager because combat tricks and then trample in the yard is nice, and Hazoret the Fervent because this deck goes hellbent a lot and haste and indestructible are good.
Grist, the Hunger Tide seems like it'll play really well in here. Being a dual creature and walker helps with delirium, plus he helps the deck mill and his ultimate plays really well late game.
Like I said I haven't had a chance to play test this yet but what do you guys think? Any suggestions? I'm working on the sideboard and should have that up at something soon.
