This deck is part of a continuing experiment to get the rainbow lands of Pauper to be viable. Lots of higher value creatures that are hardier than much of the spot removal and below curve casting cost. The rainbow lands have a one time tax, and while the petals smooth them out, they are also card disadvantage. Arcane denial can act as an unconditional counter and a ancestral recall for dead cards (lotus petal and flayer husk in particular).

I originally had all rainbow lands including crumbling visage in a earlier version, but that was too much fixing really.

Its a fun deck and it is sweet to see your hand fill all the way up after a Denial, it takes me back to the Treasure Cruise days!

All recommendations welcome! The sideboard is especially a WIP.
