Deck tends to focus on getting Bloodchief Ascension out and active as fast as possible, then milling opponent to cause damage and lifegain from them. Many cards in deck help either one or the the other objectives such as Hedron Crab, Archive trap, and Jace Beleren support the Mill, and Contaminated grounds, Wrexial, Ob Nixilis, Pulse Tracker, Creeping Tar Pit, and Vampire Nighthawk help the Bloodchief Ascension.

Also, i have a small control aspect to go along with the rest of the deck and simply to help protect my cards. The Blue negation and bouncing, along with the Vampire Nighthawks and Roil Elemental all help with that. My sideboard is also a toolbox to help with the control. if i'm milling alot, then i can side in haunting echos, if i know of a card that will completely destroy me, then i'll Memoricide it or sadistic Sacrament is always a fun card.
