i used to play splinter twin in modern until it was banned. I tried to keep the same design with countermagic, removal, and similar creatures.

1. Snapcaster Mage, my favorite card in the game, is now Torrential Gearhulk

2. Vendilion Clique, replaced with Spell Queller

3. Pestermite & Deciever Exarch are now Felidar Guardian

4. Selfless Spirit is extra protection
