Maybeboard

The classic Oath of Druids has always been a classic way to cheat mana costs by jamming a free random creature into play if you're behind on the board. Of course, this could be hard to guarantee, but the introduction of Forbidden Orchard created a very easy way to put extra creatures into enemy hands. Having said that, there's still the risk of your opponent triggering the oath himself, so you want to keep your board empty even while you're benefiting from it. Look no further than the deckbuilding challenge that is Blitz Hellion, which will show up, immediately bust your opponent's brains in for 7, then shuffle itself away again, lying quiescent for the Oath to dredge up again.

Of course, having an empty board on each of your opponent's turns is a pretty surefire way to get flattened by his own army. That's where Embargo comes in, keeping all critters tapped down without interfering with a fresh Hellion every turn. It costs you 2 life per turn, but with your opponent losing 7... well, you do the math. Having access to blue also gives us Brainstorm, in case you draw your Hellions. Sphinx of the Steel Wind is another huge critter to cheat out that can still operate under Embargo thanks to Vigilance, and can undo the life loss as well via Lifelink.

Gaea's Blessing keeps us from accidentally milling ourselves out and Noxious Revival can quickly cherry-pick anything that is dumped along the way. Treetop Village provides another way to swing past weenies and keep opposing forces at bay without counting towards the Oath or staying tapped to Embargo.
