My Cordial Vampire s make this deck go from good to great. It's not a static +1/+1 like Legion Lieutenant or Stromkirk Captain (even though I do appreciate them for what they are). If I play Gatekeeper of Malakir with the kicker, all my vampires just got bigger. If I play Maelstrom Pulse , I may trigger Cordial Vampire multiple times. Every time Gifted Aetherborn blocks or becomes blocked, my vampires get bigger. If I'm using Viscera Seer with Bloodghast or Athreos, God of Passage , the sacrifices are going to keep coming. Viscera Seer will make sure Vampire Nocturnus makes my troops flying plus the +2/+1. Vraska, Golgari Queen can sacrifice a creature and draw at the same time.
