Bound in Torment is an enchantment-driven control deck built to lock down the board while generating recursive value. The goal is to stall aggressive decks with removal and token generation, then grind out the opponent using enchantment triggers that drain, draw, and disrupt their hand.

Your inevitability comes from repeatable bounce and blink synergies.

Bounce Engines

Kor Skyfisher lets you return and replay enchantments like Hopeless Nightmare, Omen of the Sun, or other permanents for continuous value. Immediate bounce value will come from Ephemerate and Flicker of Fate.

Value Enchantments

Hopeless Nightmare: Hand disruption plus a drain when recycled.

Omen of the Sun: Life buffer and bodies to stall combat.

Omen of the Dead: your value weenie creatures/enchantment creatures will naturally take some hits. This enchantment will ensure you don't lose too many to the grave.

Grim Guardian: The deck’s finisher — every enchantment play becomes a life drain.

Interaction

Journey to Nowhere: Clean creature exile.
