I simply put down as many auras On creatures as I can. I use Deadly Recluse as a defender until I get my Aura Gnarlid or something else decent beefed up and I attack.

Nomad Mythmaker is nice, but he acts too slow late game and gets destroyed if hes in early game generally. He'll probably be removed soon. I'm a fan of the suspend mechanic although I only have a few worthwhile.
