Here is my Midrange deck.
MIDRANGE?
Every card in the main deck is there because it has 2 purposes: each card is good vs aggro or control. For example, Nest Invader is good vs aggro because its spawn and itself can block small-fast creatures while I set up my game. It is good vs control, because the spawn can be sacrificed to Chainer's Edict and the like or can be used to ramp to my big threat while Nest Invader can attack. Another example : Lightning Bolt can help control the game by removing threath, or can go face against aggro to get reach.
A lot of the card in the main contributes to card advantage. Firebolt can be used again from the graveyard, Elephant Guide makes sure a 3/3 token stay after removal or dying, etc.
The real deal here is Entourage of Trest. In my honest opinion, this card is better than its black and white counterparts. We don't see it often, because slower green decks are rare. If you loose the crown, Entourage of Trest can be fetch from the graveyard with Pulse of Murasa and be casted again to regain the crown. Entourage of Trest is perfect for a midrange deck : it can provide card advantage vs control deck, and can block 2 creatures again aggro.
SIDEBOARD
This deck really shine after sideboarding. The sideboard is designed to transform the deck into an aggro deck if needed - and it can give it more control tools against the fastest aggro deck in the format. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTION TO IMPROVE IT?
TURNING THE CORNER
Against aggro and aggro-control decks (Delver deck) (most of the meta now!), this deck has tools to turn the corner - after controling the early game. - Bonesplitter can be transform any small creature to a menacing threat;- Blastoderm can attack and block like a champ!-Entourage of Trest provides cards while protecting the board.
