amanarpl, I cut Manabond to add and test Growing Rites of Itlimoc. I haven't played enough games with it yet to have an opinion. It is definitely worth running if you don't have a Gaea's Cradle though. I don't really like Thaumatic Compass, it's slow and the deck already has plenty of ways to grab lands. The flip side doesn't really impress me either. If I did want a card to serve its role I would run Maze of Ith instead.

Your build seems similar to the early builds of my version :)

i just found another "maybe" good land for us ;)

Field of Ruin i just opened one booster from IXA and found "new cradle" and that land ;) maybe you will like it

anyway does Inventors' Fair is good here? also what do you think about Praetor's Counsel?

I'm not a fan of Field of Ruin since it helps all players. Inventors' Fair has been sub par and will probably be replaced with Thespian's Stage.

Yavimaya Hollow + Crop Rotation is good protection for Titania :)

Does anyone have a solid 1v1 adaptation of this list? It might be basically the same.. but has anyone analyzed this for 1v1 mtgo banlist (as of today)? I think everything in here is fine. My meta is abusive with Geist and it's hard stop. Uncounterable commanders like Surrak or Akroma are too slow even with massive ramp. Titania is faster, but can easily be countered. The creature package in this build seems decent against Geist. Can anyone help or share a list that would be well suited for that matchup? Or can OP please weight in on overall 1v1 adjustments? Tymna/Thrasios could have probably handled Geist, but Partner is banned. Any help would be awesome. Super cool deck and glad you still have it up here.

I'm not super familiar with the 1v1 banlist honestly. But I do know that taking away the ability to strip mine lock your opponent would make the deck less potent in 1v1.

I can say with confidence though, this build of the deck is too fast for most decks in a 1v1 matchup.

Hello, i really like this deck. What about add Bojuka Bog for interaction ( crop rotation ) against Kess, Daretti and so on? Is that too bad idea?

Thanks for the reply CastleSiege. Do until we get your upcoming updated primer regarding the deck's current state, do you mind explaining the speed you mention in the original primer and a lot of these comments? I live this deck idea and truly appreciate that you're keeping it going, but I don't see how this can outrun Geist or Wanderer without more mana dorks or rocks besides Sol Ring. I feel that I am missing the trick. I do see plenty of cards in the 3ish cmc range that will pull some lands up.. and the usual Exploration and Crucible to play more lands.. but turn 1 and 2 are crucial, and the example of the turn 2 win is a very slim chance. By the time Titania is out to get the bodies, I'd be crushed by a Geist or Wanderer 9 times out of 10. We won't always have a turn 1 Sol Ring, so how do you suggest we pilot our early turns? Mono green can absolutely gey screaming fast, but I feel pretty stupid for missing the method here. I'm not doubting it exists, I'm just really excited to play this and can't seem to decide the strategy. Ultimately, I'm marked for death by turn 4 regularly if I can't get Titania out consistently on 3. Any more tips would be super appreciated. =]

Almost have this built out for testing on my playgroup. Why the Urborg though? Can't find anything on the other 99 that would need Swamps or for opponents to have swamps.

No Maze of Ith or own lands that Urborg will enhance to be able to tap for mana.. am I missing a combo? Maybe just to be able to use Dark Depths as mana? Please someone share the answer to this mystery. Thanks!

Urborg is in the deck because it makes my fetches, ewilds/tspanse, glacial chasm, dark depths (but I just cut it), ancient tomb (if I dont want to take 2 damage), and gaea's cradle (if I have no creatures) tap for mana. I run it over chromatic lantern because I am able to tutor for it easily. I can also use it to bait out my opponent's cabal coffers if I play tempting discovery, and then immediately sacrifice it, making them waste their opportunity. I like to think of it as my super secret deck tech lol

I agree that Noxious Revival is better if you want to win faster, Creeping Renaissance is definitely more of a grind card. As for the Cavern of Souls problem, it's up to you, whichever you feel is better. I personally prefer the boxtoppers because I really like the full art and quality. Then again, it's difficult to top the beauty of original innistrad block.

I play Titania as well, your deck has been of great help to me and I thank you for that. I'm surprised I don't see Winding Canyons in your land package? It's really really good with Sylvan Safekeeper among others.

CastleSiege says... #15

To be honest I had never even considered Winding Canyons . I guess because I don't run many creatures in my build. Flashing in Sylvan Safekeeper does sound pretty powerful. Or even just Reclamation Sage or Eternal Witness . I think I'll try it out. Thanks for the idea! :)

When's that new primer coming? This deck still slams. I okay a 1v1 variant and just removed Divining Top and any banned cards for 1v1, but would love to see your updated walkthrough.

Either way, I still very much appreciate you keeping this up to date.

How bad do you need Sensei's Divining Top ? You've got Sylvan Library already, so I think it could be cut for Primal Vigor .

Why are you running Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth ? You could replace it for Cryptic Caves , if you really think you need it.

A card I run in my Titania deck is Conjurer's Closet . Syncs nicely with Titania.

June 19, 2019 4:35 p.m.

CastleSiege says... #20

Sensei's Top is significantly better when you're cracking a fetch land every turn.

Urborg is in the deck because there are a significant number of lands that don't tap for mana. Urborg fixes that, and being a land means I can tutor for it easily, unlike Chromatic Lantern.

Conjurer's closet is extremely slow and has no place in this deck

hecubus333 says... #21

That's so weird. You answered the exact same question for me semi-recently, and I can't find it. But glad to see the reminder about Urborg here. It's confusing at first glance, but once you realize it's potential it's a perfect mainstay here. I agree about Top. It's too good. Don't remove it until it gets banned again at some point hahha.

There is a new card that looks decent for the deck, but I'm not sure what it could potentially replace. Ayula's Influence . Thoughts? Maybe too slow, but seems pretty good. Also like Nantuko Cultivator .

Naw man, the exciting cards coming out are the new lands spoiled in M20: draw and landfall on a land

The new 1cmc elf that repeatedly sacrifices a land to tutor for any land and put into play tapped is exciting.

Yeah! Hadn't seen that one yet when I wrote my comment, that card is literally the dream.
