Deckling -

I'd say I'm equal parts Timmy/Johnny/Vorthos and most of my decks reflect that.

Over the years my deck building has began focusing on incorporating more and more flavor into my decks, at this point almost every deck I make has either a theme or some sort of story built into it. I do however try to make the deck as powerful as possible within that theme and I usually try to avoid most big-budget cards (though over time I've been able to add a few into my decks).

I started playing EDH with a group of friends 10 years ago with casual decks and no infinites as a house rule. Sadly most of us have gone our own way since then, but when I think back on those good times they really were the essence of EDH to me - sharing a drink or two with friends while playing some fun and relaxed games.
