Deckling -

I'd say I'm equal parts Timmy/Johnny/Vorthos and most of my decks reflect that.

Over the years my deck building has began focusing on incorporating more and more flavor into my decks, at this point every deck I make has either a theme or some sort of story built into it. I do of course try to make the deck powerful and functional within the theme or limitations I set for myself, and I usually try to avoid most GC and big-budget cards unless it seems particularly necessary for the build.

I started playing EDH with a group of friends 10 years ago with casual decks and no infinites as a house rule. Sadly most of us have gone our own way since then, but when I think back on those good times they really were the essence of EDH to me - sharing a drink or two with friends while playing some fun and relaxed games.
