Rundvelt Hordemaster

Creature — Goblin Warrior

Other Goblins you control get +1/+1.

Whenever Rundvelt Hordemaster or another Goblin you control dies, exile the top card of your library. If it's a Goblin creature card, you may cast that card until the end of your next turn. (Dying is being put into the graveyard from the battlefield. Tokens enter the graveyard before they cease to exist)

Fiery Emancipation out for City on Fire: Because duh.

Rundvelt Hordemaster out for Solphim, Mayhem Dominus: I discovered after playing with Rundvelt once that the card doesn't say "may", so it is very easy to deck yourself during a boardwipe.

End the Festivities out for Brazen Cannonade: End isn't bad, I just caught myself always just throwing it on there just because, it isn't often going to do anything pivotal and the current path of the deck favors the big, boisterous, risky plays.

For once I also have an idea where my next swaps will come from: Professional Face-Breaker/Rain of Riches/Rose Room Treasurer. Of these 3 I think Rose Room Treasurer has actually performed the best, Rain has been too costly, and Face-breaker doesn't trigger all that often as most of my combats are attempting an alpha strike on the board. I would love to trade these out for other treasure generators that fit the bill.

Nice build! Some thoughts:

  • Shock and Tarfire aren't worth running. Spending a card to only deal 2 damage is too low, and the reason that burn decks have to have every burn card deal 3 at a minimum.

  • Krenko, Mob Boss is never worth running, it will be too slow to cast with only 18 lands, and is a better fit in a more tempo-based build. As a deck that looks pretty-close to 8-wack, you want to be playing as aggressively as possible. I'd put Goblin Chieftain in a similar boat, though it is still playable (though something to potentially ditch)

  • Currently you're only running 4-wack (Goblin Bushwhacker). I think you should be upping that count to 8-wack, by also including a playset of Reckless Bushwhacker.

  • For a better lord effect than Goblin Chieftain, I'd suggest Rundvelt Hordemaster. Its lower mana cost is relevant, and can help you maintain being aggressive and not mind losing creatures in combat

@SufferFromEDHD

Goblin Sharpshooter actually just got cut for budget reasons. Valakut isn't in for the same reason.

As for Rundvelt Hordemaster, it's definitely a card I would consider including. The issue I have with it is the relatively low amount of goblin cards in the deck.

Goblin Sharpshooter and Rundvelt Hordemaster are tribal aristocrats.

All those mountains and no Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle?

Nice deck (+1), Legion Loyalist and Rundvelt Hordemaster are definitely good inclusions. Have you considered cards in the 8-whack style decks such as Goblin Bushwhacker, Reckless Bushwhacker, and Battle Cry Goblin? Battle Hymn might be a decent substitute for Brightstone Ritual. Hope this helps.

I'd recommend adding a playset of Lightning Bolt for extra creature removal and burn to close out games. Rundvelt Hordemaster may be the better lord to run since anytime one of your goblins, token or otherwise, dies you get a card out of the deal. If you go this way I'd also replace one of your token makers with Goblin Instigator since it's still two goblins for two mana but it can be cast off of the Hordemaster.

I'm not sure the warren instigators are doing as much as you'd like. It's pretty easy to block and/or kill, and you don't have many ways to clear the way for it.

Rundvelt Hordemaster is an excellent offensive and defensive addition to this deck, pumping all your goblins and actually giving you some reach should one Fury you

Chainwhiler might be better in sideboard, and maybe not at 4x. You might consider some copies of Squee, Dubious Monarch, he's a lot like having Den of the Bugbear as a creature. Rundvelt Hordemaster might be something to consider as well, it's a cheaper lord effect with an impulse draw that hits many of your cards.
