Thank you Craeter for your comment!
I wish Verity Circle was worded differently, but unfortunately as you guessed it would do nothing here.
One of my goals is to make this deck casual and fun, so I ruled out Opposition as a heinous card. Archelos can be salty enough by himself; I will tap him for mana through cards like Citanul Hierophants or Cryptolith Rite at the end of my turn.
I aim to get value out of my lands coming into play untapped, and exploiting things like Thawing Glaciers to get triggers and ramp. I have various possible wincons, one of them being to turn lands into creatures and attack, although I think I need to make room for Earth Surge for this to be a viable option.
I can also win with mill using Phenax, God of Deception. This works fast with Murkfiend Liege on the board.
Then there are the obvious ones, Rampaging Baloths and Avenger of Zendikar
Conduit of Worlds is a good idea, I am not sure I was aware of that card, thank you. I don't think Druid Class and Lifegift make the cut.
Glad you liked the story!

Altered Landscape (most fun EDH deck.. ever)

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to mention Earth Surge and Sylvan Advocate! These are no Craterhoof Behemoth but can make attacks with lands appealing if you can't find the big stompy lizard.

My first thing would be to remove Rakeclaw Guardian, Blood Aspirant, Thornscape Apprentice, Knotvine Mystic, Hellkite Hatchling, Earth Surge, Rally the Righteous and Titanic Ultimatum for other things.
Probably a few field wipes and draw spells would help a lot.

I personaly would like to try Earth Surge on a deck like this. But even without it this deck really shines.

I can't deny that Merfolk and their philosophy did fit me quite well. I overall like combo mechanics, powering up, and things like that.
Also, I wish to say that I do own some more rare cards, which could potentially be helpful for future upgrades of whichever deck I'd get: - Hinterland Harbor - Temple Garden - Clifftop Retreat - Azusa, Lost but Seeking - Myojin of Infinite Rage - Scion of the Wild - Earth Surge - Novijen Sages - Sensei's Divining Top
Is there anything out there for me? Some pre-made commander? Is there anything out there that I could potentially create with my cards? Is there something that I could build towards?

I tried this with Natural Affinity and Sylvan Advocate a while back. The haste on Sylvan Awakening makes it a lot better. A beatdown plan isn't off the table. You actually reminded me to look back over the decklists.
Earth Surge/Elemental Uprising/Genju of the Cedars/Early Harvest are all there, and can have an impact, depending on what else you are jamming and what the plan is.
Perilous Forays/Seed the Land can give you quite a lot of range.
