Dust of Moments

Instant

Choose one - Remove two time counters from each permanent and each suspended card; or put two time counters on each permanent with a time counter on it and each suspended card.

Hey man, here's some synergies!

Clockspinning, Fury Charm, Dust of Moments, Timecrafting, Quicken, Borne Upon a Wind & Emergence Zone are all fundamentally super strong here.

I'll stop here and let you decide if you want more recommendations before I get out of hand lol.

Polaris on rousing refrain repeat??

Yes, Rousing Refrain is designed to loop every third turn once cast. It's a callback to a cycle from Future Sight of spells that would loop after being cast (Arc Blade, Reality Strobe, etc). As long as a card that has suspend is in exile with time counters on it, it will remove one at the beginning of your upkeep and cast for free when the last is removed.

Normally, though, there's no way to pay to remove time counters earlier. The only cards I can think of that do it are Paradox Haze, which gives you an extra upkeep a turn to trigger abilities including suspend, and cards like Clockspinning, Jhoira's Timebug, and Dust of Moments that are expressly made to adjust suspend counts. A normal card with suspend has no way to get cast faster on its own.

Thats probably what would end up happening most likely. Albeit I am looking into things like Wildfield Borderpost and Knight of the White Orchid in combination with the Weathered Wayfarer to start the ramping with.

Another way I was looking at was Dust of Moments in combination with Lost Auramancers as a way to pull Endless Horizons removing the lands. Maybe I can find a way to combine both ideas. Either way, I feel like I'm taking your deck in a very different direction and probably making it worse in the process.

Regardless, this will probably be my final post for the night unless I come up with an amazing epiphany I think you might want to know about. When I do get some lists fixed up I'll add them to my profile and send you links for input. Maybe you'll have some ideas for me as well. Until then, good night and happy belching.

Small side note, I really like how you are constantly adding things to your maybe board.

  • new ideas are use Timecrafting and green to ramp and get the deck to go off
  • use Dust of Moments and Shivan Sand-Mage to remove a lot of counters at once.
  • use Jhoira's Timebug and Rift Elemental

  • Now my understanding is that the last one will be the slowest. Now its a toss up between the first two. I can ramp and do stuff which should be effective, or I can go the slow route and do more of a control like match up. Where Curse of the Cabal could be played. If i sac a lot of my stuff anyways It will hurt me a lot less than my oppunet. Then I just grind the game out.

I just saw you play this, and honestly loving it. This was actually a deck of mine to try and do the opposite colors of Living End when that came out. Dust of Moments and Shivan Sand-Mage are two cards I do suggest trying out 2~ of and see how they feel. They are Time Removal (both remove two counters but Dust of Moments removes 2 from each suspended card)

Neotrup on Will I get 6 turns?

Because this is a rules forum for discussing rules, so I thought I should call out a non rules question as being off topic. As Foretold can get additional counters from cards like Tezzeret's Gambit, Dust of Moments, or Paradox Haze, among others. It's not limited to the 1 counter per turn as you implied.

A couple cards that come to mind here would be Timebender, Delay, and Dust of Moments. I like what you've got going on here so far. I'm also excited about As Foretold, looks like it could have some really cool interactions.
