Great theme deck! My personal recommendations of cards to stick to theme would be Canyon Jerboa to represent the kangaroo mouse Muad'dib and potentially an Armageddon to represent Paul threatening to nuke the spicefields

I never get tired of threads like this... the artwork is one of my favorite things about this game; even when I was a child and had no clue how to play I used to love looking through my older brothers rubber banded together cards and just look at them... Memory Lapse always intrigued me for some reason.

Now as an adult I tend to get drawn into art for 3 main reasons

In recent sets I think my favorite would probably be Chandra, Dressed to Kill... it's my first alternate/borderless art that I've ever picked up and I'm pretty fond of it.

I just really looked at the art for Canyon Jerboa and it immediately think of this deck. Not really good enough for a slot probably, but the art is on-theme for sure

That does sound tough since each of those tend to take a bit of time. You could get some payoff from Cleansing and Planar Birth to massively buff Ondu Greathorn or Retreat to Emeria, allowing you to only target your basic lands. Or even target only lands with a Balancing Act.

If you're going the landfall route, which may work if you add some more options like Boreas Charger if you've sacrificed your lands or Crucible of Worlds, Oreskos Explorer, Stoic Farmer, Eternal Dragon, Timeless Dragon or anything else with plainscycling. More buffing cards like Canyon Jerboa or Felidar Retreat could help with the subtheme, and as many options with landfall like Fearless Fledgling, Prowling Felidar, Emeria Angel, and Emeria Shepherd. The Shepherd is very strong recursion, though sadly doesn't target lands.

Eternity Vessel could even give you some defense while keeping with the theme and Trove Warden looks viable as well.

All in all, with the basic land angle there are a lot of options for landfall abilities in white, so may as well make use of those for a more immediate power buff than something slow like Elspeth, Sun's Champion.

Warlock is what we got for witches. Somewhat weird decision, but it works.

I have a big heart for weird types. I really hope for actual support for Mole and Hyena, both of which have ~2 cards currently. Mouse is another type to hopefully be expanded. There're Canyon Jerboa and Enchanted Carriage.

I'm really excited for the new Kamigawa. More snakes, more ninha, more rats.

Oh, and I finally want an Elder Turtle. Do it, you cowards! ;)

I made that suggestion based on your commander. Your commander doesn't really fit the concept of lifegain with +1/+1 counters. Choose a theme and stick with it. +1/+1 counter centered decks would much more synergize with Atraxa, Praetors' Voice or Reyhan, Last of the Abzan + Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker.

EDHREC is a great website to find some cards that might fit your deck. You can either search for card suggestions by theme, by commander, or a combination of both.

There is also a useful site called mtgassist, that helps you find cards that are similar to another card. For example, if you think that a card like Solidarity of Heroes really fits the theme of your deck, you can enter that card there and you will get a bunch of other cards that have a similar effect.

When I take a look at your deck, I see some cards that have no synergy with your deck at all. Like Canyon Jerboa. It neither synergizes with +1/+1 counters or lifegain, why is it in your deck? Same for Shadow Stinger or card Sea Gate Banneret. Every card that is in your deck should match the concept of it, else cut it out.

Also, a lot of the cards in your deck are straight out BAD, as in, there are cards that do the same thing, that are strictly better. It seems to me like you are trying to build a budget deck, but even then, I believe you would find MUCH better options than Turntimber Ascetic, Tajuru Snarecaster or Guul Draz Mucklord

For example Thornweald Archer, Abzan Falconer or Juniper Order Ranger

I would advise you to completely rebuild your deck, first pick a commander that matches the theme you want to go with, then use the websites I mentioned above to find some decent cards that go with it.

If you are on a budget you can also choose "Budget" on EHDREC for the most popular cards of a certain theme or commander with a more reasonable price.
