Blessed Reincarnation

Instant

Exile target creature an opponent controls. That player reveals cards from the top of his or her library until a creature card is revealed. The player puts that card onto the battlefield, then shuffles the rest into his or her library.

Rebound (If you cast this spell from your hand, exile it as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost.)

I think yall listed the majority of them the only other ones that come to mind are:

  2. Hour of Need
  3. Brine Hag
  4. Polymorph
  5. Blessed Reincarnation

That is the best way to build them. Trial and error on the battlefield really helps you see the flaws and strengths in your cards.

I made a deck about making a bunch of flying djinn monks called Flying Fists. It's thematic so the cards I chose to include all flowed with the flavor of the deck. Once I started playing the deck I made a pretty unpleasant discovery. My only instant speed removal in the deck is Blessed Reincarnation . It looks okay on paper but in actual game play it was really bad. What would happen is I would cast it to get rid of something I didn't like on the table and then my own spell would let them put into play really insane creatures like an Emrakul while all I exiled was a mana dork to slow them down or something. Regrets.

Leviathan tribal. Neat.

Blue has a few cute options for cheating stuff into play - and a 'show and tell' style modern deck sounds fun. AEtherplasm offers a more casual trick. Blessed Reincarnation and Polymorph are traditional. Braids, Conjurer Adept is modern legal.Deathrender is usually better in combos, but functions. Flood of Tears and Fold into AEther are cute if awkward. Quicksilver Amulet is a classic, as is Summoner's Egg. Thran Temporal Gateway can do an impression of quicksilver, but is more restricitve.

Good luck with the brew!

Blessed Reincarnation is two-fold, it's removal for something you might want gone as opposed to in play on your board, and it also forces a creature out of someone's library that you can then steal at your leisure.

I have Grafdigger's Cage on the battlefield, and I exile an enemy creature with Blessed Reincarnation . Do they still get to put the revealed creature on BF? or do they just shuffle all the cards back in?

In regards to some other of your recommended cards, Invasive Surgery would only really work if I can activate delirium, which is difficult for me. The deck runs primarily on instants and sorceries, and it is not likely that I will often get 2 other card types in the graveyard, let alone have them stay there due to shuffling effects. I will probably replace the field of ruins with more ghost quarters, as you recommend. Blessed Reincarnation gives the opponent another card, which could be better than their original one. Overall, though, my deck takes a different approach then your suggestions. They could create some sort of green blue shuffling deck, but, as I said above, I find my UB version more efficient.

It's conditional and would need some setup but Invasive Surgery would make sense in your sideboard, particularly against Faithless Looting decks. Cranial Archive or Quest for Ancient Secrets might also work. Field of Ruin is unconditional, booth players must shuffle, Ghost Quarter lets your opponent decide. Stream of Consciousness does what you want, but if you were willing to splash green Memory's Journey is better and you have access to Riftsweeper and Unravel the Aether, the last is worth considering since you don't have enchantment/artifact removal.

Isochron Scepter, might be useful, also Boomerang and Eye of Nowhere can bounce lands, or anything else which is a good stalling tactic. Last thought Blessed Reincarnation is probably better than Commit / Memory, and hits twice. Hope this helps, have fun brewing your deck.

I might cut the Blessed Reincarnation though.
