Brewing Jalira: help?

Hey everyone, I just got into EDH, and am getting bored of being stomped on by everyone while playing, ironically enough, green stompy. I wanted to move up the scale, and loved polymorph in modern, so I want to build Jalira, Master Polymorphist. I just need help with building mono-blue in commander. Staples? Must-haves? Nonbasic lands? Any help is appreciated!

If I were you, I would build it like Polymorph in modern. Play 5-6 big dudes, Blightsteel Colossus, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. Then play things to sac that aren't creatures, Faerie Conclave, Springjack Pasture, Talrand's Invocation, Ojutai's Summons, Acorn Catapult, Hornet Cannon, Whirlermaker, The Hive, Spawning Bed, Foundry of the Consuls, Gargoyle Castle, Urza's Factory, etc.

Just remember, Jalira, Master Polymorphist doesn't hit legendaries, so no need to pack Ulamog, Kozilek, and Emrakul. You probably want a few game-crushing non-legendaries (I'm thinking Sundering Titan, It That Betrays, Blightsteel Colossus, Darksteel Colossus, etc.) and lots of legendary utility creatures such as Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, Thassa, God of the Sea, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip, Vendilion Clique that you wouldn't mind playing, and that you can morph into your fatties in a pinch.

Big stompies like Blightsteel Colossus does well. Also using Reef Worm helps.. some people also use Willbreaker and similar.
