Wurmlover Deckling

this looks like a good decklist. maybe in the future upgrade for some AEther Vials.

interns of the tournament, most people will think that it is aggro-control, so your most difficult matchup would probably be either esper or any deck thats heavy on removal. even lantern control with Ensnaring Bridge can be hard to get around. for tron matches, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon can be extremely painful. maybe add 1 or 2 ghost quarter to the main and add 1 or 2 Pithing Needle to the sideboard. possibly adding 1 or 2 Faerie Conclave for 1 or 2 Creeping Tar Pit?

love the deck! just getting into legacy and I think I will play this.

just one thing: this is not cruel control. cruel control references grixis decks that won by resolving Cruel Ultimatum.

i'm sure i'm missing something, but how do you keep from wiping your own board?

aholder7, you do realize that glittering wish removes itself from the game, right? considering that, would Research be an option?

I find that Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is really win-more in this scenario. you could probably cut it for another pithing needle. I've also found that Defense Grid works better than Silence

I just made a list of eggs, and find it very fun (for me at least), do you think you could take a look?

aholder7, why would I need to add pyrite spellbomb? is it absolutely necessary? I was also thinking that Blue Sun's Zenith isn't necessary, since I can draw my whole deck with the combo itself

aholder7, you are my best friend now. that combo is glorious. I will do some testing, and get back to you. one question: what would a Sideboard for this look like? how much of everything would I need?

January 13, 2017 2:51 p.m.

why do you run Summoner's Pact?

January 12, 2017 7:41 p.m.

chaosumbreon87, how do you build eggs in frontier?

January 12, 2017 7:28 p.m.

what is 4 horsemen, chaosumbreon87?

January 12, 2017 6:36 p.m.

oh my god, chaosumbreon87 that is glorious. I was considering using Blue Sun's Zenith as well, but my god, sinking 40 mana into pinging the opponent. sheer glory. I don't want too many ETB draw effects, because milling out accidentally is more of a risk then. locked of yesterdays looks OP though.

January 12, 2017 6:29 p.m.

chaosumbreon87, i like the way you think! keep the ideas coming!

edit: wait never mind, its not legal in modern. have any other ideas?

Jaceblue12, is there any way to spin this deck so that it doesn't die to an extraction?
