Well, I did a LONG search on gatherer, got many great suggestions, and it's completed.

I just wish Atraxa, Praetors' Voice was also red so Braid of Fire could become even better for EDH.

Other than that, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, or any other of the new 2015 Commanders, work with experience counters and proliferate, but that's pretty well known. Quest counters for cards like Quest for Pure Flame work. Hell, if you wish to wait for a better time or what have you, suspend counters for cards like Ancestral Vision also work. I'll try to think of more.

There are some hilarious cards out there if you want some jankiness.
Archery Training for some pro sniping.
Armageddon Clock if you just wanna watch the world burn.
Armor Thrull because +1/+2 is better than +1/+1.
Azor's Elocutors...win the game? ok.
Clockwork Avian or any other clockwork dudes are funny.
Corrosion to kill all the pesky artifacts.
Djinn of Wishes is lulzy if you want more than just 3 wishes. Yes, you can wish for more wishes now.
Endless Scream because errata.
Essence Flare for a slow death.
Fylgja idk this name is just worth it.
Greater Werewolf and other oldschool werewolves have hilarious effects.
Lead-Belly Chimera and other chimera like +2/+2 counters.
There are some other goofy ways to use proliferate that are actually pretty decent.
Like getting an extra level on the level-up creatures.
Or pumping your slimes faster with Gutter Grime.
Or just ramping like a troll with Hickory Woodlot, Iceberg, or City of Shadows.
All in good fun.

I played against my friend last night and we were both using his like $20 decks, that's when I found out about Icatian Javelineers. Not really a good card but the flavor is great and I guess atraxa allows him to ping for one each turn as long as you keep the original javelin counter.

I'll throw in Leech Bonder + Paradise Mantle or Utopia Vow or Karametra's Favor. This gives you infinite moving of counters from one thing to another. For the giggles.
Also, Kangee, Aerie Keeper, Aven Mimeomancer & Soulcatchers' Aerie get feather counters. Rimefeather Owl for the ice counters. Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer gets bribery counters. Powder Keg gets fuse counters. Briber's Purse has gem counters. There are lots of enchantments with verse counters - just search them in the rule field in a gatherer advanced search. Or use permanents with Vanishing, where proliferate will keep adding time counters to keep them on the battlefield....

Suspended cards don't work, they are not permanents unless they are on the battlefield.
If you need a reminder on proliferate Atraxa, Praetors' Voice.
