This is once again a deck from a Draft at a LGS. I feel like, from the cards I drafted, I could have created a much better deck, and I would appreciate if I could get help in understanding how. Nevertheless, I drafted high-quality cards and managed to win the Draft.
The Draft:
This time around, I opened Vivien Reid P1P1, and really wanted to force Green from there onwards. I then started to receive a ton of good Black cards, just passing by my hand, some picks with multiple good Black cards, so I decided on Black as well, since, if it was open Pack 1 with good cards, it would also be open during Pack 3. I also got passed a couple of great White removal cards very early on, and that was all the good White I saw during the Draft, so White was never a choice in my mind. Having my colors decided already mid-way through Pack 1 made the rest of my Draft a lot easier, just picking the best Green or Black card in the pack. I was lucky enough to open a Dryad Greenseeker in Pack 2.
The Deck (my doubts):
I am unsure if splashing White for the 3 removal spells was a good choice. The guy I played against in the last match told me I should not have splashed White. He told me to take out my 3 white cards and a Hired Blade for a Centaur Courser, Nightmare's Thirst, Ghirapur Guide and a Reassembling Skeleton. He also didn't like Titanic Growth. Is he right? He said that I had a good amount of removal already, with Plummet, Rabid Bite and Vivien, and that splashing White (especially with no mana-fixing, I might add) can be really bad for my mana during the games. He did say this though after a game where I had all my three White cards in hand for a long time without drawing any Plains, which was extremely unlucky, not the average case.
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help me :)
