Blossoming Defense There to help protcet my merfolk

Silvergill Adept and Merfolk Branchwalker are there for card advantage

River Sneak for an unblockable creature that can be pumped with other merfolk etb

Deeproot Elite is a better Metallic Mimic because it can put a counter on any merfolk

Merfolk Mistbinder The lord we desperately needed

Kopala, Warden of Waves is there for more protection

Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca has great versatility for card advantage, pumping our guys or just being an attacker

Deeproot Waters may seem weird as a 4 of in the main and some people think its too slow, but I disagree. My curve tops out at 3, so if I play this on turn 3, I can potentially have 4 more bodies on the field if I cast 2 creatures on turn 4.

Supreme Will is there for a little counter magic or to try and dig for any merfolk I need. I can always use a lord

As far as the sideborad goes, it still needs some work. It was thrown together after looking at other standard decks. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
