Been wanting to make this deck for a while now and finally with the help of return to ravnica, here she is =D
I know that cards like Leyline of the Void will murder this deck, so any sideboard suggestions would be handy =D
Not trying to be too serious with the deck, but any constructive feedback is always welcome =D
Thanks a bunch for the sideboard options, they'll come in handy =D
Squee, Goblin Nabob combos wonderfully with Lotleth Troll (as he seems to be the mvp of the deck) and Fauna Shaman as well.
I tried 5+ mana spell for the deck and it seemed very sluggish. Though it might be good for a backup plan. I'll test some of your suggestions out regardless.
Its no problem man.
Really the expensive creatures are supposed to play out of the graveyard at a lower cost with Unburial rites. That gives things like Hamletback Goliath which is a 7 drop only costs as little as 4 to put on the field. Plus comboed with Grave Titan and you get an Extremely HUGE creature.
Its just a good combo move and i cant tell what your wincon is exactly. The only thing i see is Lotleth Troll Getting huge and trampleing over everything.
Maybe something like card:Sorin's Vengeance For some life gain and damage options.
And i didnt think about Squee for discard on Lotleth troll. Thats what you call trolling hardcore. lol
If i could +1 again just for that, i would. lol
Ok, I'm convinced enough to give her some serious testing =D
Another combo I noticed: Lotleth Troll + Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + X lands equals finisher at instant speed =D
That is definately a great way to do it.
Golgari Grave-Troll is banned in modern...
Slitherhead seems like a perfect fit to aid the troll. Either a blocker and a +1/+1 or 2 +1/+1 counters on the troll for free.
I initially had a set in, but then found cards like Deathrite Shaman and card:Raven's Crime gave the deck more utility. This is also important if Lotleth Troll fails as only he can take full advantage of Slitherhead .

Side board for this id do it like this:
2x Naturalize 2x Acidic Slime 2x Golgari Charm Wouldnt be a bad fit either. You are very short on removal, so id side some Murder s and maybe Doom Blade or Go for the Throat for some emergency removal.Trouble against fliers could be a problem here. Maybe Plummet s or a very under-appreciated card like Deadly Recluse for those pesky angels or Dragons or whatever...
Not sure what you have Squee, Goblin Nabob in here for, but id recommend maybe something like Unburial Rites For some crazy graveyard drops. Plus that Flashback is worth splashing plains for.
Graveyard Hate is definately a problem for this. Cards youll need to watch out for:card:Grafdigger's Cage, card:Tormod's Crypt, Rest in Peace , Rakdos Charm
And You need some bombs from the grave. My buddy runs a frites deck and he uses some of these as bombs:Hamletback Goliath Grave Titan Primeval Titan Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
Grimgrin is a little slow, but with Gravecrawler you shouldnt have any problems.
Nice deck man +1
