I like the addition of Braids in a zombie deck.

The deck needs more land (4-6 more) to run more smoothly. Also the deck could probably use the ravnica signets, mirrodin sigils, and the Sol Ring / Command Tower edh staples all of which on top of the need for more land.

I wrote an article about EDH deck construction here. You might want to check it out.

I would be careful about including creatures that are only useful as beatsticks. For example, Sewn-Eye Drake offers no additional utility to your deck. It's just a bag of meat.

Usually EDH decks run about 35-38 lands. 32 is kind of low. You should also take advantage of mana-producing artifacts like Sol Ring , Thran Dynamo , Gilded Lotus , etc.

card:Ashnod's Altar and Attrition are good sac outlets.

What exactly is the goal of your deck?

What is your experience with EDH?

What is your budget?

The goal is to keep everyone down on creatures with sacrificing. I try to make enough tokens to sacrifice with so that it doesn't really hinder me. If need be though regular creatures are sacrificed, I am working on using the power of sedris to bring things back at a rather cheap cost and keep them with Sundial of the Infinite . Which I haven't had the chance to buy yet. budget wise, Not looking to hurt my wallet to badly.

And to add more lands, what should I take out? I have a Drowned Catacomb to put in. I always struggle pulling cards out to replace them.

Smokestack would be brutal in here.

Gravecrawler goes infinite with Phyrexian Altar too. If you're running all zombies, card:Patriarch's Bidding is another win con you could use to overwhelm your opponents.

I've also got a thrax deck, but its based around more control and sacrifice, then destroying them with combat tricks. Take a look if you want deck:saximundar-edh

+1 for Thrax

If i had a token i would SO feature this. This is definitely the next EDH deck I build, i trried building my own Thraximundar deck, but you just nailed it! No need for anyone else to even try!

Haha, thanks :) lots and lots of work has gone into this deck trying to make it absolutely perfect. I appreciate the praise

You need more card draw. Like, a lot of card draw. In playtest your hand kind of died after the first 5 turns, with no way to refresh the deck with a shuffle or any card advantage. I'd recommend a Phyrexian Arena for some sped up card draw so you can access combo pieces and some more zombies quicker.

Blue has a lot of card draw as well, take advantage of it. Cards like Rhystic Study and Consecrated Sphinx I have a Thrax deck too so if you wanna take a look you are more than welcome to. deck:hes-just-misunderstood

I do like the suggestions, but... what do I take out to put in said cards?

Deadapult can go. 2 damage isnt really worth one red mana and a creature in EDH. No matter how many you have. Even if Thrax is on the field.

Dread Slaver isn't that great either. In my experience 3 damage isn't enough to kill fatties in a slugfest like edh.

Gravecrawler goes infinite with Phyrexian Altar and Diregraf Captain for a full-on win if you wanna try that too

well, i have the Gravecrawler +Diregraf Captain +Rooftop Storm +Grimgrin, Corpse-Born

Deadapult helps with Grave Pact but, Dread Slaver for Phyrexian Arena I will most definitely do.

One thing I noticed after looking hard and long at the lovely deck. The CMC is quite high. Lots of cards cost quite a bit, man do I have the card for you! Nightscape Familiar Zombie, makes your commander cost 2 less. I highly recommend it!

'Tis very true, I did have one of 'em in here but, it was removed long ago and I wouldn't know what to pull to put it back it

I would personally get rid of card:Geralf's Mindcrusher right now he's really just a 5/5 undying for 6, which i know is still good, but i think Nightscape Familiar will do way more, I would aslo think about trying to add Sheoldred, Whispering One for the sac engine, and the return engine for you. If it was me, I think Sheoldred could replace Urabrask the Hidden but thats just me

I was thinkin the same thing. I do hve sheOldred. I will swap the two out. And perhaps stick in the familiar. Thanks
