Thopter-Tron, is a combination of the UW Gifts Tron with two of the most menacing infinite combos, Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek. The second combo consists of Mind-Locking your opponent out by using Mindslaver + Academy Ruins...It's a deck powered by the famous Urzatron lands (Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant and Urza's Tower) which, together, produce 7 mana instead of just three. This allows us to cast powerful win conditions and obtain one or both of the aforementioned inevitability.

The main strategy of the deck is to stall the enemy's early game while casting a great amount of counter-magic, then, by using the famous Gifts Ungiven spell, the player should be able to fetch out either a Huge Creature such as Iona, Shield of Emeria and reanimate it by "Flashbacking" Unburial Rites; Gifts Ungiven can also be used to tutor-out the "Infinite Thopters" combo.

The deck also has quite a bit of card-drawing via Thirst for Knowledge and Board-wiping spells such as Wrath of God and/or Supreme Verdict to buy the player time until you assemble the full "Tron". Reaching that point gives you a large resource advantage, greatly reducing the possibility of losing the game.
