- Satyr Firedancer: Wins against creature based aggro decks
- Ash Zealot: aggressive, first strike + burn kills big dudes
- Young Pyromancer: Makes creatures, lets you stay aggressive
- Spark Trooper : Against decks with little removal this is almost strictly better than Warleader's Helix
Spells
- Boros Charm: With Spark Trooper all modes are relevant
- Skullcrack: Lots of life gain in standard
- Magma Jet: Scry, nuff said
- Searing Blood : keeps the pressure, great synergy
- Warleader's Helix : 8 life difference, basically a finisher
- Lightning Strike: cheap burn
- Shock: cheap
