This deck: "No!"

It's mostly green tron, in a post protour lotr environment. I really like that saga allows us to give maps some extra purpose, tutoring up another map to keep cranking out karnstructs. In the sideboard I kept trinisphere and I am playing the golem until I get my third wurmcoil. Relics allow us to recycle one rings, and attacking with an animated one ring is also pretty great. I also really like haywire mite, so I am playing one in the main so we can saga for it if needed.

The one of karn liberated. Sigh. The rest are in my tron alternates binder for now. They will return!

The sideboard is fully a wishboard now, as jegantha doesn't like Dismember.

This deck is the classic story of lord of the rings. Our hero Saruman has converted nature to resources and achieved The One Ring (presumably from Post Malone who did not keep it very secret or very safe, let's be honest). He has also delved to greedily and too deep and ancient threats are stirring. Also his funloving robot karn makes lots of interesting Trinkets and occasionally can just Fabricate the one ring on demand. Boseiju is the Shire or something.

SCENE: argothian wasteland, long after the brothers war.

Construction began immediately, as the threat was deemed great enough to warrant the ancient magics. Mana had been bleached from the land, and even the smallest scraps in long forgotten treasures were broken to assist in construction. Across the land tremors were felt, something stirred. Amid the wreckage, a stone was found warm and purple. The horde advanced through the groves, and beheld the construction among the buildings; a seemingly deserted town, and several kettle like looking structures. Their eyes did not linger long however on these sights for there in the distance, a tower. And in the air around them, a hum.

The stone pulsed, and crumbled to dust and the strength of the horde fell. The building thrummed with vibrant energies, and at last his eyes opened.

"There is danger?" The voice was not quite mechanical, but deep and languid. "Yes lord." Came the disembodied reply "Show me," the Liberator said.

The groves and towns were shown in relief, being overrun with all manner of creatures, humans, catfolk, spirits of those long dead. Then he saw them, The ascendants of serra, those that had been corrupted by the invasion. They had found him in his seclusion. One more image lingered, a zendikon cleverly hidden. Another image appeared in front of him, he studied the map, and ordered the venting of the mines, and using the spark, quickly examined the strategies of the opposing command.

"They would bring martyrs?"

Puzzled at the level of corruption of their faith, Karn began the journey that would take him to the center of his prison planet, to the eye of ugin. With a touch from his silvered hand, the eye's glow intensified, and he breached the prison's chamber.

"Emrakul," He called out, "As you have been liberated, so now must you liberate, I call you forth."

In the groves, Elspeth gathered the clerics and rangers, and soldiers that she had been able to find. They had found two of the oblivion stones, and knew that all was lost if they encountered a third. The mines vented fire, as the clerics were dismayed to find. Salvation relied on the continued destruction of the towers, guerilla tactics, and constant pressure. They had not come unprepared, dismantle this former father of machines using whatever means necessary. Their own informants told them of the ghost quarters, and their volatile nature. They had even been able to destroy the Eye of Ugin after the "Liberator" went inside. Still she could not help but feel they may be too late.

The hum in the air had stopped, the mine had been sabotaged, and the absence of the hum was slightly disturbing. At times she could hear it in her ears as a phantom hum. She was alone now. The third stone had ripped her ragtag band to almost nothing. As long as the towers were dark, she could cling to hope. Emeria was in sight, at the edge of the wastelands that constituted a plains, and there she could find respite. Over the cloudless sky, a shadow darkens. She looked up.

It was beyond comprehension, there was a presence in her mind too large to be contained by her vision. The shocking thing was that she was not afraid per se, though the literal ground below her feet had violently fallen away. She was in an open and empty space, Elspeth could see her now, Em-Ra-Kul her name like a pulse. Somewhere beyond in the deep distance and space between what it was Elspeth could perceive of her, were the towers. Why had Elspeth come here? She was to offer a path unto exile for this father of machines. Like a child with a toy, she offered this path to Emrakul. She declined.

All at once Elspeth was alone, in the blind eternity. The oppression of Emrakul was lifted, but here she was devoid of even a world to stand in. From the encroaching darkness, something was blinking. A pinprick of light, and movement. Then he was there, she could feel his spark.

"Karn?"

"Yes, Elspeth?"

"What was that?"

"She has been banished, sent back to her prison, till she is needed again."

"I was sent to exile you."

"I have done this already," He replied.

"What happens now?"

"Now, I will liberate you as well. You cannot survive here."

She awoke, as from a deep sleep, the sky was blue and the land vibrant, and above coast a trident hung in the air, suspended and shimmering. No, a trident has three prongs, this one has two...
