Puresteel Monastery Storm

This is a fun deck idea. It can race the best aggro in modern, falters a bit to control. Tips appreciated. It does better against control now that I've added Ensoul Artifact and put Spellskite in the sideboard. It really could benefit from some counters to protect the combo, but it also can be hurt by diluting what's in there.

It combos out as early as turn 1 before your opponent even has mana to counter, but more often on turn 2, 3, or 4. If you don't get your storm combo, or it stalls out, it can also become a grindy deck that pumps out tokens and 5/5 artifact creatures that swing for the win.

If you don't have a Puresteel Paladin, hopefully you have a Monastery Mentor. If you don't have those, or an Ensoul Artifact or Ghirapur Aether Grid, I wouldn't recommend keeping the hand. However, with any of these in hand, the deck can be deadly fast. An interesting interaction is all the 0 drop equips with Aether Grid. You can tap the artifacts even while they are equipped to a creature, and it doesn't affect the equip status, making these benign toughness increasing equipments into heavy targeted removal. The equipments can also be equipped to turn your important combo guys into large walls. Always make sure you cast your Retract with mana from Mox Opal if you have it! I'll be taking this deck to a local tournament soon.
