This is my attempt at Mono-Black Devotion using only Theros block and M15 cards.
Of course, mono black takes a serious hit from the loss of Pack Rat, Underworld Connections, and Desecration Demon. I'm trying to cover their losses as follows:
Cruel Sadist: Replaces Pack Rat. Obviously not as powerful, but an early-game creature that can become scary if left alone. To reflect the lack of discard in this deck, I've gone back to 1x
Whip of Erebos

Sign in Blood: Replaces Underworld Connections. Pay life to draw cards. On turn 2, this card bails me out of some borderline hands, allowing me to mulligan less frequently. I chose SiB over Read the Bones simply because it fills my 2-drop slot in the curve. I'm open to discussing this.
Indulgent Tormentor: Replaces Desecration Demon. It's not as scary, but it gives me card advantage so I can draw into Hero's Downfall and other kill spells.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is here because, with the top MBD creatures rotating out, it's nice to be able to hijack the opponent for disruption.
Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
absolutely shuts down Green Devotion decks by preventing Chord of Calling,
Font of Fertility
, and other search cards.

Dark Betrayal
for the mirror,
Pharika's Cure
for aggro,
Typhoid Rats
for monsters, Eternal Thirst for white weenie
