The idea is to gain as much life as possible. An annoying and ultimately useless strategy. But I figured, what the heck and made the deck. Here's a breakdown of each card and its role.
Creatures
Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet: Not much explanation needed. A four drop with life gain and the ability to stop reoccurring threats. He also creates tokens which is great!
Bruna, the Fading Light: At the top of the curve, pulls back a lot of the humans, but is mainly there to meld and create Brisela, Voice of Nightmares. Running 2 of in hopes that it will increase the chances of creating Brisela.
Felidar Sovereign: Another curve topper, but works as an alternative win condition. If I'm gaining a ton of life, might as well try to win with it.
Tree of Perdition: A nice way to do some damage. Great wall, as it can block everything on the ground and not die. The tree also works nicely with Triskaidekaphobia as an in condition. Finally, the tree also plays really well with Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim as a way to gain more than 10 life than the starting total and start exiling opponent's permanents.
Gisela, the Broken Blade: A very real threat. Also meldable, tempted to run more.
Thalia, Heretic Cathar: A great card to create tempo in my favor. Also a nice beater, first strike never hurt.
Lone Rider
: Another powerhouse, with as much life gain as is in the deck flipping them shouldn't be a problem.
Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim: A great 2 drop. With a way to gain life and death touch. She has the ability to turn games around.
Enchantments
Triskaidekaphobia: What can I say other than fear the number 13.
Instants and SorceriesHere it's removal.
Anguished Unmaking: Unconditional nonland permanent removal at instant speed, you pay 3 life, but I should be able to recover that.
Stasis Snare: Awesome creature removal, especially with Emrakul, the Promised End in the format.
Murder: Great instant speed creature removal.
Dazzling Reflection: A way to save my little creatures and gain even more life.
Blessed Alliance: More removal, but it can also gain some life.
