So I love +1/+1 counters decks, mainly those which get unnecessarily high amounts of them. Since I'm still fairly new to mtg, I figured this would be a good place to see how well/ poorly I designed the deck.

The cards I chose and their importance to the deck (A-Z).

Main:

Birds of Paradise - Mana ramp to get my creatures out faster asweenies aren't currently welcome in this deck

Corpsejack Menace - Having this creature out just makes every other creature's effects twice as potent. On a sidenote, Corpsejack Menace is really nice for baiting out some removal that may have been better used on your other creatures

Joraga Treespeaker - Some more mana ramp to get the hydras out there

Heroes' Bane - A big creature that will scale well with the rest of the deck.

Inspiring Call - Great card for getting some card draw, but what I love most of all about this card is it's granting of indestructible to creatures with counters on them.

Kalonian Hydra - There are so many situations where this cardsets up wins. For example, if there's a Corpsejack Menace on thefield and this is played, you get a 5 mana 8/8, then next turnswing with this and you hit for 24 damage (with trample). Nice.

Mikaeus, the Lunarch - Cool card, synergizes well with KalonianHydra, Corpsejack Menace. With Kalonian Hydra especiallyas he then becomes basically "put a +1/+1 counter on each othercreature you control once a turn". Also good early drop, but notvaluable enough to justify running more than 2.

Mutant's Prey - Gets rid of pesky creatures efficiently.

Nissa, Worldwaker - Great for ramp, synergizes with Overgrowth. Allows really early Tooth and Nail Plays and big creatures.

Primordial Hydra - This card is so versatile, playing it for 3mana is worth it, and it becomes much more valuable the more manayou put into it. Also exponential growth is awesome.

Slaughter Pact - Great removal, amazing for when your opponentthinks that no mana = no threat for playing creatures.

Thoughtseize - Answer major threats to this playstyle beforethey can become a threat.

Tooth and Nail - Get dem hydras out here
