G/R Devotion (Post rotation friendly)

Standard*

ASG

Sideboard

Made my post rotation gruul deck, if anyone has some suggestions then go on and post them! If you can't afford Nissa, Worldwaker then a good replacement is Chandra, Pyromaster although Chandra would be good main board as card advantage. P.S, my favorite combo in this deck would be Xenagos, God of Revels + Terra Stomper

This weeks FNM was small so we only had 3 rounds:

Round 1: G/W Aggro: 2-0 Game 1: I was able to hold off his Selesnya charm tokens, Experiment ones and fleecemane lions with coursers and caryatids until I top decked a Stormbreath that he couldn't do anything against. It was a quick win with Stormbreath out

Game 2: We both got off to a quick start although I was slower and took numerous hits from his fleecemanes and Loxodon Smiters but I topped a Stormbreath, monstroused it to take him down to 13 and I played defense. Then at the best time I found a second Stormbreath, monstrous and took him down to 11 and swung with both stormbreaths for the win.

Round 2: G/B Devotion 0-2

Game 1: Started off decent but got swarmed by 2 hornet queens resulting in a loss.

Game 2: This game looked promising with my cards that I side boarded in but unfortunately mid game he ripped a Garruk, Apex Predator and took my Terra Stomper down with a -3 then he killed me with hornets and a nylea pump ?

Round 3: Junk Midrange: 1-1 Game 1: I was ahead with a Xenagos that went unchecked for 5 turns (5 satyrs FTW), a courser and a Xenagod until he ripped an Archangel off the top that he used to combo with Scavenging ooze to then kill my Xenagos, turning off my Xenagod and kill me once he had dealt with my 2/2 satyrs.

Game 2: I was able to quickly pull through with T3 Stormbeath Dragon and T4 terra stomper then killing him on T5.

Game 3: The 3rd game had been long and painful, neither of us could swing all in or we would both be dead on the swing back, I saw none of my Stormbreath dragons which would have ended the game quickly. He was able to get some of his Archangels out but I was able to swiftly answer them with my plummets. We ended up hitting T5 in overtime and tied.

Overall record: 1-1-1 Place: 3rd (Behind Esper control and the same G/B devotion that beat me Round 2, both 2-0-1)
