My second attempt at a Karn deck. This deck is still a work in progress, so please any feedback or thoughts are welcome. The main piece here is Phyrexian Scriptures to clear the board for our Karn tokens to win. Phyrexian Scriptures is great b/c it doesn't really harm our side of the board and gives us both creature hate and graveyard hate. The life gain from Gift of Paradise helps keep us alive in time to board wipe aggro. The Eldest Reborn is flexible and good game 1 against both aggro and control. Kitesail Freebooter gives us a lot of information and can take out key cards early on. It's also a target for Phyrexian Scriptures first proc.
Sideboard plan so far (note this will change periodically):
Against G/B: +4 Tocatli Honor Guard, + 3 Settle the Wreckage, -3 The Eldest Reborn (settle is just better as it exiles and gives us more card advantage), Not sure either -4 Duress or -4 Kitesail Freebooter (there are many arguments to be made here like freebooter protecting karn against Plaguecrafter, Duress not hitting many cards and not giving a body, but freebooter dies to a lot of stuff, and so on).
Against R/U Phoenix: We just need +3 Settle the Wreckage, so -3 The Eldest Reborn (not really much we want from them, it's better to just exile their beaters with Ixalan's Binding and Settle the Wreckage.
Against Mono Red: + 4 Tocatli Honor Guard (it stops Vishiano pyromancer and Goblin chainwhirler triggers as well as providing an early blocker).+3 Knight of Autumn (the lifegain and blocker is important), -2 Chamber Sentry (its too slow here), -3 The Eldest Reborn (slow and they dont have much we want that wont get exiled by us). Undecided on what the last -2 should be.
Against Mono White: The main thing needed is +3 Settle the Wreckage to help deal with Adanto Vanguard, so -3 The Eldest Reborn. +3 Knight of Autumn (never a dead card as all 3 options are useful especially if you need to hit History of Benalia). Undecided on what to -3 for them though.
Against Control:
+1 Carnage Tyrant, =4 Plaguecrafter, -4 Phyrexian Scriptures, -1 Gift of Paradise
