They said I was crazy. They're probably right...

BUT IT WORKS!

SLIVERS!

I have made several attempts at making fun, Slivery Pauper decks. I had some success with Slivers Gone WILD (UNCENSORED) and Holy Striking Slivers, Batman!, but neither of these decks felt the same as when I play with my EDH Sliver deck, Budget Hive.

After a lot of testing, playing, balancing, and silly games... I present, my Pauper Hive, in all 5 colors of Sliverness.

Sentinel Sliver is the star of the category, and he can hold his own. Providing Vigilance to all the other Slivers lets his cousin work his tricks more often, and he's the strongest stand-alone Sliver at 2/2. I like to play these early.
The other Sliver is Sinew Sliver, which provides another +1/+1 bonus like his cousin. Play these as you can, but it's often better to go for more abilities, or use on of these to draw out a counterspell and then drop a more versatile Sliver.
means evasion, and evasion is Winged Sliver. These guys are the killing blow, and are often targeted for death and removal, so playing them late when you already have a good line of bruisers is a good route to take.
gives us the Crypt Sliver. These are good to play early, as the Regenerate can be used to save your other vulnerable Slivers. Best when combined with their hasty cousins, or with their vigilant ones.
A very busy color group, with a lot of versatility!
You've got your only 1-drop creature here, the Striking Sliver, and though he's small, the benefit he gives to the rest of the Hive is great. I find more often than not that I'm playing this guy with Crumbling Vestige on T1, then tapping him for any color with Holdout Settlement on T2. He likes to help!
Next in is the Heart Sliver. Haste is a scary ability when you consider the and abilities that require you to .
Lastly is the closest thing you're going to find to removal in the main board. Hunter Sliver lets you get those cowardly little monsters hiding in the back row, or creatures with high levels of evasion. Just call them out and make them block something bigger than they are. Problem solved!
The other half of the +1/+1 party is here with Predatory Sliver. They might not have the amazing additional abilities of the other Slivers in the Hive, but a few of these on the table will push you to victory much faster.
Last but not least, you've got the Gemhide Sliver. These little guys bring the rest of the hive to the party, and can be essential early game, and then used as chump blockers once your mana base is established. All for the good of the hive.
One can not survive on Slivers alone, (though one can get close...) so we have a few colorless goodies here in the Hive to keep things flowing.
Prophetic Prism and Terrarion both support the 5-Color concept, and they also both give some much needed card draw to keep you from Sliver-Fizzling. (It's a thing, trust me.)
Meanwhile, Crumbling Vestige, Holdout Settlement, and Unknown Shores keep your mana base flexible, and there's one of every basic land for Evolving Wilds to grab, letting you balance out what you're missing.

Naturally, you still need a sideboard (Sadly, not made out of Slivers):
I couldn't resist making this 5-colors as well. Generally, just take one Sliver from each of the Sliver types with 4 each to make room for the sideboard.
Chaplain's Blessing, for Burn.
Mizzium Skin, for Creature Hate/Bouncing.
Diabolic Edict, for Aura/Hexproof and Tron.
Electrickery, for Aura/Hexproof and Weenies.
Natural State, for Aura/Hexproof and Affinity.
