Slap your opponent with the claw of every creature you shovel into their graveyard. Let them feel the weight of the souls lost before they ever existed.
Or, for those burn heavy controlling magicians, make use of the sideboard to escort them to their own Mind Funeral.
Bonehoard and Nighthowler sparked the idea for this deck. They both have the option of buffing Jace's Phantasm or Invisible Stalker for lethal damage or just being fat creatures. Bonehoard can do some dirty work with its germ, and then be equipped onto a creature, and vice versa for Nighthowler.
Avatar of Woe can come out on turn three if you get lucky with your mills, or on turn four after your turn three Mind Funeral. Also a great option for Nighthowler or Bonehoard if you're playing against the right deck.
Consuming Aberration is a disgusting card. It just has to sit there and look ugly, maybe swing for lethal damage, but mostly just sit there and consume like a true 21st century American. Especially gnarly in multiplayer games.
Tome Scour, Mind Sculpt, and Mind Funeral are the mill engines. The point of this deck is not to mill to death, unless its going up against a deck without many creatures (in which case sideboard in Mind Grind and
Countermand
). Milling to death just feels dirty to me. There's nothing worse in magic than both the looser and the victor being disappointed.
Tragic Slip for removal. It's easier than you think to coerce a death out of the turn you need it on.
Psychic Strike- I know there's a card out there that should replace these guys but I just haven't seen it yet.
