Standard FNM Midrange RUG (Temur)

Sideboard

This is my rendition of a Temur Midrange deck, I took the decklist of my Gruul deck All Hail Xenagoat..nope...Dragons!! and splashed some blue in to make it a little more versatile and unpredictable. Please tell me what you think and if anything is missing, and dont forget to +1 if you like it :)

Dragonlord Atarka Duh!! standard Gruul fattie

Savage Knuckleblade a cheap 4/4 that will put pressure on the early game.

Polukranos, World Eater a ridiculous card that slays whinnie decks.

Ashcloud Phoenix a very persistent creature that just wont go away and will punish you if left unchecked.

Xenagos, God of Revels hmmm, an indestructible doubling effect...YES PLZ

Xenagos, the Reveler a great ramp card that helps produce chump blockers

Sarkhan Unbroken mana ramp and draw as a +1 as well as a dragon token generator, so not fair.

R1: (2-0) vs Mardu aggro- this was a better match up than I thought it would be. Usually I smash Mardu decks no problem but this guy made me work for my wins. His butcher wasn't a problem most the time and Rabblemaster is annoying but easily taken care of. It was his Soulfire Grand Master that really kept these games ebbing and flowing.

R2: (2-0) vs Abzan superfriends- this kid's deck is obviously good and can get out of hand easily but I just outran him in both game. With all my ramp and haste from Ascendency both games he just couldn't keep up. I also sideboarded for Destructive Revelry when I saw the matchup, I wasn't going to let his whips last on the board.

R3: (2-1) vs Jeski Token combo- This matchup is usually no problem for me but I had to tip my hat when he took games 2 because he got off his combo quick and slammed me with 3 9/9s before I knew what happened.

R4: (2-1) vs Sultani Control- Control decks are my biggest weakness and this was a well constructed deck. She got mana flooded in game one so that was an easy win. I saw Garruk, Apex Predator in game two and it went downhill from there. Game three was won soley on the back of Mistcutter Hydra his charms and reality shifts couldn't get rid of it.

Finals: (2-0) vs Gruul aggro- It was really cool seeing my reformed Gruul deck and another being the winners of the 2 pods and facing off in the finals. But this also meant I knew exactly what was coming. Admittedly my deck was much slower than his but one I got going my creatures just over powered his. I finally got to play Sarkhan Unbroken in game one and he just terrorized the board. there were too many dragon tokens for one deck to handle. Game two I ended on a massive Crater's Claw, didn't really know why I sideboarded for it but I was glad I did at the end.
