Description

1: The object is to get out as many lands as possible, then play Essence of the Wild then Beacon of Creation . "pull land" cards make this possible very fast. Then use Arbor Elf to untap lands for the extra mana to pull this off. Very simple and very affective.

I don't think Overrun or Echoing Courage are necessary because when you have Essence of the Wild you're already winning.

Add in 4-6 in combination of Green Sun's Zenith and Summoner's Pact if you can get your hands on them to make it easier to find Essence of the Wild.

I also like actual land ramp for this over mana dorks because it helps make a bigger Beacon of Creation. Some possible cards for this include Sakura-Tribe Elder, Search for Tomorrow, and Explore.

Otherwise very cool deck! I like it a lot!

Thank you Figag. You're right, I could probably do without the Echoing Courage for sure, but, the trample effect from Overrun is very nice with this deck even though it's sometimes not needed because they're already 6-6's, but I have played it against some of my friends and if they have a few creatures out or did any life gaining I can't hit them for all of their health by turn 5 if say they block 2 or 3 of them and they don't have trample, lol. Green Sun's Zenith and Summoner's Pact are very nice but pretty expensive lol. I think a Parallel Lives would do amazing if I had one out and got double the 6-6 tokens, but its also a little pricey and I'm trying to keep it cheap if anyone wants a simple to use token deck that is consistent with its winning to play against friends with. I may add in 2 Search for Tomorrow cause that's a pretty nice card and just replace the Terramorphic Expanse. Explore could be good, but I feel as if it would only be good if I had one in my draw hand or got one second turn. I basically put the "Mana Dorks" in because of how pricey Essence is, and also, if he's out there 6-6's so making a bunch of them isn't very important.

Sakura-Tribe Elder is almost a strictly better mana dork for this though because the ramp is the same as dorks and it gets a boost from Essence if you get them later, so it has both. The forest finding is better than tapping for mana because it allows you to make more tokens with more forests. Explore is the worst of the 3 I suggested for your deck, but still an option. I would definitely run 4 Tribe Elder and some number of SFT.

Arbor Elf would be a lot better than elvish mystic in this deck since you can untap forests that you've enchanted with fertile ground.

The biggest issue that these kinds of decks have is dealing with flyers so you could maybe consider something like Traproot Kami or Ruthless Instincts

Looks like a fun deck!

Triumph of the Hordes... for your Maybeboard perhaps? It has infect which means you only need to hit your opponents for 10. Could be a little ruthless... Looks like a cool deck. =)

Abundant Growth is only really good for a its draw a card ability in this deck if you want some mana ramp i would use Wild Growth instead

They're in it for the draw card, just to speed up the deck. it doesn't really need more mana because of harrow and kodamas reach with the tap for mana creature and tap/ untap a forest creature but I may cut it down to just 2 of those and throw in a wild growth. Thanks!

If you just want card draw there's other stuff with more utility like cycling, Lull can save you from dying or draw a card if you're doing fine, Krosan Tusker is also good cause it can also fetch a forest when cycled. Break Asunder and Claws of Wirewood can act as removal when needed. If you have the budget Manamorphose is another really good one.

You could use Abundance. It's not technically card draw, but it's usually better since it allows you to not draw cards that you don't want (especially filtering out lands late-game). Collective Unconscious is expensive (mana-wise), but it would be NUTS here, and give you gas in the endgame.

Also, if the people you play against are piloting black decks, there's nothing better than Compost.

Elvish Visionary seems unnecessary. I'd add more token production like Fungal Sprouting. Also, Fertile Ground isn't great because it's a mono green deck. Something like Wild Growth or Overgrowth would be better.

Doesn't wild growth only add one mana though? And overgrowth does the same as fertile ground just for 1 more mana to play it

I'd do -2 Elvish Mystic in favor of +2 Arbor Elf. Arbor Elf combos nicer with Overgrowth.
