This is my son's deck that he built a few years back to combat the meta (with some improvements along the way)

I don't know why others don't dip into black for their Hate Bear decks. The power and control here is unreal. Your opponent is often locked out of the game by turn 3 and you begin to wreck face just as early. With a Leonin Arbiter in play your paths have no downside and your Ghost Quarters turn into Stripmines. Black adds some much needed hand and creature hate that Flickerwisp can repeat! Not even to mention how good Wasteland Strangler gets when you have a card under Tidehollow Sculler.
